project overview
Infinite Reflections is a speculative experiential branding project that reimagines how visitors engage with an immersive art exhibition inspired by Yayoi Kusama's recurring themes of infinity, repetition, and reflection.
rather than designing the artwork itself, this project explores how a cohesive visual identity, environmental graphics, wayfinding, and visitor services can transform a museum visit into a memorable, story-driven experience.
The concept demonstrates how branding extends beyond logos and marketing into the physical environment, shaping every interaction from arrival to departure.
design question
How might we create a museum experience where every touchpoint—from ticket purchase to gallery navigation to reflection after the visit—reinforces the emotional themes of the exhibition?

wayfinding
While the physical wayfinding system guides visitors through the museum, the mobile companion provides a personalized layer of information before, during, and after each gallery experience. Rather than replacing environmental graphics, the interface complements them by helping visitors orient themselves, discover exhibition content, and explore at their own pace.
The mobile experience was intentionally designed as a companion rather than the primary experience. Physical signage, architecture, and environmental graphics remain the primary navigation system, while the digital interface provides additional context only when visitors choose to engage. This balance preserves immersion while supporting accessibility and personalized exploration.
